Refund

The amount and timing of a refund depends on the
specifics of your circumstances.
Once ABC AUTOCARS initiates a refund, you’ll need to
allow extra time for your bank or payment issuer to
process and return the funds to you.
Note: Only your bank can see the status of your
refund once we’ve issued it on our end. ABC AUTOCARS
agents can’t see the status or expedite a refund. If
you don’t receive your funds within 10 business
days, Contact Us to request more refund
documentation you can present to your bank.
1. Get a refund
Once we initiate a refund to your payment method,
your bank or credit card company will process it
according to their own timeline.
Debit or credit cards : up to 10 business days
2. Refunds due to unclean or unsafe vehicle
We’ll refund you in full for a vehicle you believe wasn’t cleaned and disinfected, only if you don’t accept the vehicle, don’t check in for the booking, and contact us immediately, no more than 1 hours after the scheduled booking start to receive a full refund. Exceptions to refund amounts may apply In the event of flight delay, cancellation, or lost baggage, safety issues tied to vehicle cleanliness, or other extenuating circumstances.
3. Refunds for cancellations inside the free cancellation period
We’ll refund the full amount if you cancel during the free cancellation period - 24 hours before your booking starts or one hour after booking if you booked less than 25 hours in advance.
4. Refunds for cancellations outside the free cancellation period
We’ll refund you in part if you cancel outside the
free cancellation period depending on booking
length. We’ll always refund your protection plan,
any Supplementaries, and young driver fees in
full.
For trips two days or shorter, we’ll refund the trip
price and trip fee minus half of the average of one
day’s cost
For trips longer than two days, we’ll refund the
trip price and trip fee minus the average of one
day’s cost
5. No Replacement or Refund
ABC AUTOCARS does not provide, and renters are not entitled to, a replacement vehicle, refund, or deposit refund in cases where the rental vehicle gets damaged or becomes undrivable due to an accident or mechanical damage, regardless of who is at fault or the cause of the failure. Mechanical damage due to normal wear and tear is not the renter's responsibility, but any damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repairs is fully the renter's liability.
Additionally, ABC AUTOCARS, at its sole discretion, may cancel the reservation at any time without any further refund if the vehicle is still drivable, including but not limited to cases of policy violations, unsafe vehicle operation, or operational decisions made by ABC AUTOCARS.
The Renter is solely responsible for all third-party claims, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, legal expenses, and other liabilities.
By proceeding with the rental, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to these terms, waiving any claims related to vehicle replacement, refunds, or cancellations as outlined in this policy.
6. No Refunds After Check-In
If you wish to shorten your rental period, you must submit a booking modification request before your scheduled check-in time, and it must be approved in writing by ABC AUTOCARS.
Once check-in is completed, the rental period and total charges become final. ABC AUTOCARS does not issue partial refunds, credits, or rate adjustments for:
- Early returns
- Voluntary early drop-offs
- Unused rental days
- Any renter-initiated changes after check-in
Any early return that has not been pre-approved in writing is classified as a voluntary early return and does not qualify for any refund or price adjustment.
This policy is part of our standard Terms of Service, which you agreed to at the time of booking.
