What to Do If You Experience Tire Damage

Step 1: Safely Stop the Vehicle

If you notice your tire is flat while driving, the first step is to find a safe location to pull over.
If you are on the highway, look for the nearest rest stop or gas station.
In Residential area try to find a safe spot away from traffic.

Step 2: Turn on Your Hazard Lights

Once you have pulled over, turn on your hazard lights to alert other drivers that your vehicle is not moving. This will make it easier for a tow truck or mechanic to find you if needed.

Step 3: Alert ABC AUTOCARS

Take clear photos from different angles where the flat tire is visible. Send photos to our email: abcvipflorida@gmail.com / tap your full name on email subject line.

Step 4: Assess the Damage

Look at the tire to determine if it can be repaired or needs to be replaced. If the damage is significant or the tire is completely flat, you will need to replace it. However, if the damage is minor, a repair may be possible.

Step 5: Call for Assistance

If you don’t have a spare tire or are uncomfortable changing it, it is best to call for ABC AUTOCARS roadside assistance at +1 305 701 7788.

⚠️ CURB IMPACT & SUSPENSION INSPECTION POLICY

Any curb impact, wheel strike, or contact with a fixed object during the rental period may cause hidden mechanical damage that is not immediately visible and may affect vehicle safety.

Mandatory Post-Incident Inspection

If a curb impact is suspected or confirmed, ABC AUTOCARS reserves the right to require an additional mechanical inspection, which may include, but is not limited to:
• Wheel alignment verification
• Suspension inspection (front and rear)
• Subframe position and structural alignment verification
• Steering system and control arm inspection
• Complete underbody (vehicle bottom) inspection, including but not limited to the chassis, subframe, suspension mounting points, steering components, control arms, bushings, crossmembers, brackets, and any related components potentially affected by curb or impact forces.

🔒 Security Hold for Inspection

To proceed with the required inspection, a temporary security hold of up to $1,500 may be placed on the renter’s payment method immediately upon identification of curb impact damage.
This amount is not a penalty and not a final charge.
It is a temporary authorization hold to cover potential inspection and repair costs.

💳 Final Charges & Refunds

Once the inspection is completed:
If no structural or suspension damage is found:
The renter will be charged only for:
• Inspection and verification costs
• Administrative processing fee of $150
The remaining balance of the security hold will be refunded promptly

If damage is identified:
• The renter is responsible for all inspection, repair, and related costs
• Any applicable balance will be charged or retained accordingly

📌 Important Clarifications

• Inspection requirements apply regardless of drivability or visible damage
• Delayed discovery of damage does not eliminate responsibility
• Protection plans do not cover curb impact–related mechanical damage
• ABC AUTOCARS determines inspection scope based on safety standards
